只是 NIC Port 少一個 USB多兩個

  因為有些許風險，過程步驟就暫時不貼了。
  
  我參考了這篇：Freeing up space on hda1的 another possibility將/usr與/home 掛載在/dev/hda3上(與原來預設同，但hda3我預留了約4G大小，所以多安裝一些程式是ok的)。還想把/var/*也掛載在/dev/hda3或是/dev/hda4。

• 接下來想做的，麻煩大家提供意見：

• 買一個SDHC轉IDE的轉卡，將系統轉移在SDHC上，可抽換(開機前插入與關機後更換)
• 買一個SATA的硬碟內接盒與SATA轉IDE轉卡，將LS2的外殼挖小洞，把IDE排線跟電源線拉出接上硬碟內接盒。也是於關機時抽取。

• 裝上SDHC轉卡跟SATA轉IDE轉卡，好像都比直上USB外接硬碟來的麻煩對不？好像把這些錢跟時間在舊PC上面安裝FREENAS比較划算一點。

弄一篇拆機文真是花費時間。

• 把背後init鈕旁的型號標籤取下了。貼在機殼上。
  
• 標籤後隱藏的固定螺絲，全機只有這一顆。
  上機殼+下機殼+硬碟固定架的螺絲。
  準備個放螺絲的盒子或是湯碗吧！
  我的這個螺絲不見，在桌面或是桌下某處。（固定光碟機跟硬碟的螺絲可以鎖進去，但是要夠長才行）
  
• 準備一隻一字螺絲起子或是小叉子也行。
  我的叉子上有即溶咖啡渣！
  輕戳固定灰色匚型的卡榫。
  輕輕一推卡榫，匚型塑膠框就離開了。
  接著是灰色匚型塑膠框的下部。
  
• 一樣，戳它。
  
• 機體正面。
  在參考網站提到鏡面面板有隱藏螺絲。
  HD-H250LAN-TW(498125458024)
  這個版本的ABS塑膠殼去掉了這個步驟。
  
• 往左方輕推，取下灰色匚型塑膠框。
  
• 上下機殼還沒分開。上下機殼接合線中間是透過一個LED導光塑膠到面板上的。LED上方可以看到硬碟固定架跟機殼固定的卡榫。右下方是電源按鈕。左下方是前USB插孔。
  
• 嗯，取下螺絲了。
  
• 用手指輕按卡榫(上面跟下面都各有兩個卡榫)，
  讓上下機殼分開。
  
• 先從機體背後那邊分開。
  為什麼要先從這邊呢？
  因為機體前面有硬碟固定架跟機體接合的卡榫。
  且上機殼+硬碟固定架+下機殼的鎖孔剛好呈在同一孔位。
  
• 嗯，先分開右方。
  
• 注意看中間那條線。
  上下機殼有個吻合的溝槽，裝回去的時候要對準才行。
  
• 右方往上掀開。
  
• 如果同時左右兩邊同時掀開上機殼的話，
  不好掀開。 且，硬扳的話，電源按鈕可能會把PCB給扳壞。
  
• 左邊灰色那個是Power鈕。
  
• 電源鈕，先取下來，收好。
  
• 到這裡上機殼完全取下了。
  
• PCB上面有四顆固定的螺絲，取下。
  
• 這是機體前方LED導光透明塑膠。
  
• IDE排線-CN7
  POWER排線-CN3
  
• 把電路板翻開。
  看到硬碟固定架。 左方藉由由卡榫與機殼固定。
  
• 電源供應模組。
  對角兩顆固定螺絲。
  相信這時你已經先拔掉電源線了，
  否則會有觸電的危險！
  
• 照這張要幹嘛呢？
  相機太爛。 (電源導線很細！)
  
• 硬碟固定架右側也有一顆螺絲，還有絕緣L型塑膠片。
  紅色網套是廚娘咖哩外帶時，老闆娘會用網套套起來。
  
• 取下螺絲。
  
• 硬碟固定架上方的固定硬碟螺絲。
  取下。
  
• 掀開硬碟固定架。
  再掀開之前，固定架輕往右推---＞
  左邊固定架跟機殼固定的卡榫就脫離機殼了。
  你可以仔細看上機殼+固定架+下機殼
  的螺絲鎖孔剛好呈三明治排列。 -|-|-|-]
  
• 硬碟固定架，脫離。
  
• 這兩個洞，就是硬碟固定架跟機殼固定的卡榫。
  
• 取下硬碟固定架，看到硬碟。
  
• IDE排線，很短。
  
• 硬碟 SAMSUNG SP2514N
  
• 硬碟插上IDE轉USB的排線跟電源。
  負責分割或是調整磁區的Aopen EZ661-T。
  
• 裸機！
  風扇是由兩個卡榫固定的，輕輕扳開可以分離。
  LED此時DIAG+HARDDISK+POWER閃爍，是因為我刷完FREELINK後，被鎖在外面。開機時先按住INIT再按POWER，就會進入耶誕燈模式。無效！
  
• 這是小女鄭豆花，謝謝收看。
  天氣溼冷，請注意家貓保暖。
  
• 後記：反覆測試，刷OPENLINK時，都不會顯示錯誤訊息。但是刷FREELINK會出現。請小心！

EM模式：想不到竟然這是最快的方法。

• 準備：
  • 一個空白的，沒有分割磁區的硬碟(我測試的是4G MAXTOR 型號後補)。JUMP預設為MASTER，JUMP設定通常貼在硬碟機背面。
  • LinkStation HD-H250LAN 的附帶網路線直接插在PC端的網路孔。如有其他網卡，請停用。
    
    請更改PC端的網路設定為：
    IP-192.168.11.X(除了150以外)
    NETMASK-255.255.255.0
    DEFAULT GATEWAY-192.168.11.150
  • 請關閉防火牆及各式各樣會擋PORT的程式(我的PC是W2K，只有裝AVAST HOME)
• 開啟LinkStation HD-H250LAN的電源！
  • 網路LED燈會先亮，接著電源LED會閃。
• 執行軔體更新(BUFFALO原廠的.......或......直接更換！)
  • BUFFALO/FREELINK/OPENLINK任一版的
    HD-HLAN FWUpdate.exe
• 軔體更新中
  • Settings are being saved
  • Firmware is being transmitted
  • LinkStation Firmware has been renewed
  • Settings are being restored
  • if You get the following message You are done.
  • The firmware has been renewed
• 於更新時，區域連線總共會顯示斷線兩次(第一次發現)。
• 使用ssh連線程式進入LS2
  
  USERNAME:root
  PASSWORK:freelink
  還要更改密碼喔！(因為我還要同樣的EM模式試驗一次所以先跳過)
• vi /etc/network/interfaces 預設為DHCP取得(依照第一次經驗，會被鎖在外面)。要更改為STATIC，請依照你的網路環境設定。
  
  auto lo
  iface lo inet loopback
  
  auto eth0
  iface eth0 inet static
  address 192.168.0.X
  netmask 255.255.255.0
  broadcast 192.168.0.255
  gateway 192.168.0.1
  
  
• vi /etc/init.d/rcS
  於最後一行新增開機時啟動apservd
  按i鍵後輸入
  /etc/init.d/ap
  按Esc鍵，輸入wq!，然後按Enter輸入離開（有更正規的改法，第二次實驗的時候補上）。
  
  
• 將LS2網路線插回HUB或是IP分享器，將PC網路設定改回來並將網路線插回HUB或IP分享器。
  
  shutdown -r now重開機。如果一切順利，使用ssh連線程式可以再次連入LS2。
  
  
• 先實驗到這裡。
  各位有知道可以錄製程式畫面的軟體嗎？
• 
  以上的過程千萬不要照著做。等我再實驗一次確認無誤後。再整理清楚並貼圖。

因為突然有個急件冒出來，今天午後要搞定給人家，週日要播出的：談新國會真能耳目一新嗎？
這是題外話。

我翻翻我混亂的房間，發現一顆4G的硬碟，再來做各種實驗。
原廠那個打算就把hda3再分割為hda3與hda4，
hda4放資料，hda3放/usr /var /....

我被鎖在機子外面前手賤去執行了base-config，而且理所當然的選了位在台灣的apt source
試著移除掉sources.list裡面非*.kernel.org以外的sources，應該就可以了。

啊，趕件去。

完全不會Linux的我終於在摸索三天之後
把debian裝好了

我裝debian的目的狠簡單
只是要samba server可以讓xbmc用
但是samba一直裝不起來
感覺像是sources.list裡面更新的伺服器出了問題

試了幾個網路上搜尋到的安裝伺服器都不行


部份檔案出現類似下面的訊息
Failed to fetch ftp://debian.linux.org.tw/debian ... .0.14a-6_mipsel.deb  Unable to fetch file, server said 'Failed to open file.  '

HG版雖然是 Gigabit但 CPU 不夠力..所以傳輸速度還是上不去
之前看到測試好像也只能到 100MB多一些而已...

將LS2軔體回復成Buffalo HD-HLAN_fw_2.05.zip的燈號變化，
時間將近5分鐘。

根據以下階段有數個燈號變化：

• Settings are being saved
• Firmware is being transmitted
• LinkStation Firmware has been renewed
• Settings are being restored
• if You get the following message You are done.
• The firmware has been renewed
  

手邊剛好沒有空著沒事做的硬碟，不然就可以繼續測試EM模式回復軔體的程序。[洋蔥tongue]

果然是DHCP設定的問題，無法取得IP，讓我被鎖在門外。
使用ubuntu 7.04桌機取得root管理員權限，
先更改為STATIC IP，目前可以跟LS2取得聯繫。
但是任一版的軔體更新程式掃不到LS2，
這應該是/etc/init.d/apservd開機時沒有啟動，
設個連結檔讓LS2於開機時啟動(/etc/rc.2.d/)

接下來的計畫：

計畫A

• 刷回原廠軔體
• 試驗初始化鈕在原廠軔體跟freelink軔體下有何不同(刷了freelink後，試了各種按法，還是無法回到出廠預設值)
• 備份(這個好像可以不用做  [洋蔥014])

計畫B

• 將hda3分割為兩個磁區(hda3->>hda3+hda4)
• 刷freelink
• 參照前輩們的作法......。

唉，想不到這麼的好拆.......。[洋蔥020]
因為我試過各種方法了，還是得拆。
參考前輩的拆機圖文教學。請點這裡。

在步驟一提到....要輕輕的用很薄的一字起子撬開那個鏡面面板讓它跟灰色塑膠框分離後，卸下隱藏在面板後的螺絲。

各位手上的機器應該跟我是同一批清倉貨吧，機體前面四顆LED背後並沒有隱藏螺絲.......。

所以機殼上總共就只有一顆螺絲，機體背後那張型號與安規貼紙蓋住它了！

步驟四先拆上蓋。左右兩邊都有LOGO哩！
1.可以把LS2放在你的前面(面板在前，你看不到)，左手邊的就是上蓋。
2.四個角角有可以貼防滑墊的就是下蓋。

然後讓LS2平躺在桌面上，兩手手指同時"輕"按按住卡榫.......，讓卡榫退開。
這時因為硬碟的重力，卡榫退開後，要分離上蓋會更容易。
底座的卡榫也是一樣。把LS2旋轉180度，一樣兩手手指"輕"按卡榫。

上蓋就跟本體分離了。

你如果要將硬碟用其他電腦的 Linux 來 mount，
看一下 Fix ext2 magic 這篇，
其實只是 Buffalo 故意將辨識 ext2 partition 的 magic number 改了一下，改回來就可以了。

我看到有人報價1500新台幣，不少錢耶！

其實你照著網路上的步驟做，應該是不用像我一樣邁向拆機之路才對。
把1500元省下來，可以買一個USB的無線網卡喔（你的LS2就有無線支援了）。

啊......，我想我還是先送NB去皇家修鍵盤好了。
這個不急......。

在一台沒有光碟機，只有USB軟碟，不支援USB光碟開機的NB安裝W2K或debain真是一件耗時間的事.....。

回去當天剛好有三個小時的等老婆空檔. 就把新機器分了屍. 沒想到比想像中還要好拆. 照著這一篇的拆法拆了它. 只不過不同的是網頁中圖片的鏡面面版底下還有兩顆小螺絲, 而我的機器沒有. 各位前輩要動手之前可以先試著搖一下那一整塊膠框. 如果是鬆鬆落落的就不用試著撬開它了. 也省點事.

至於卡筍的部分則是把牙線棒的尾端尖尖部分剪平, 拿它來插卡筍很好用, 又不必怕弄傷旁邊塑膠的部份.

只不過拆出了硬碟, 接上了電腦. 看到裡頭是三個分割, 只能 mount 起原本放資料的地方, 沒有辦法 mount 起第一個分割. ubuntu 一直告訴我 wrong fs type , 就是不給掛.

為了這一台做了件很笨的事, 也是為了這一台第一次在這裡有人替我加分呢, 平時都是潛水居多. 更是因為這一台被老婆唸到快翻了. 得要加快手腳把它處理一下.

• ISSUE:LED Flash Code Explanation and solutions: LinkStation Pro and Live
  
  CAUSE：If LinkStation encounters a disk error, it will be reported in the LinkStation status on the top of any of the Web-Based configuration screens.
  PLATFORM(S)：LinkStation NAS
  LED Flash Code Explanation and solutions:
  
  The Info or Error light will flash a sequence of long flashes then a sequence of short flashes. The long flashes indicate the first number and the short flashes indicate the second number.  For example: on the RED ERROR light, one long flash and five short flashes would be a disk error.  On the ORANGE INFO light, two long flashes and seven short flashes indicate USB disk check.
  
  Info (orange) light:
  
      * I10 - PCB overheat
      * I20 - internal HDD formatting
      * I21 - internal HDD checking
      * I22 - internal HDD recovering
      * I23 - System initialising
      * I25 - firmware updating
      * I26 - initialising web setting
      * I27 - USB disk checking
      * I28 - USB disk formatting
  
  Error (red) light:
  
      * E00 (no light, beep only) - MPU error
      * E01 - DRAM data line error
      * E02 - DRAM address line error
      * E03 - RTC chip error

      * E10 - UPS power loss
      * E11 - fan error (RPM too low or stopped altogether)

• ISSUE: Some problems will cause you to boot the LinkStation into "Emergency Mode".
  
  CAUSE：Multiple issues.
  PLATFORM(S)：TeraStation NAD Devices.
  SOLUTION：Some problems will cause you to boot the LinkStation into "Emergency Mode". It is like a safe-mode, but for the LinkStation.
  
  1. You will need to have the LinkStation powered off.
  2. Hold down the INIT button on the Terastation, and keep holding it in.
  3. Now, power on the LinkStation.
  4. Once the Power and DIAG LEDs will blink in unison you know that you are in 'Emergency Mode' and can now let go of the INIT button. 。
• ISSUE: IP Setup Utility cannot find Linkstation
  CAUSE：Older utlity
  PLATFORMS：LinkStation NAS
  SOLUTION：If the IP Setup Utility cannot find Linkstation, try using the NAS client utility instead. It is an updated version of the Linkstation IP Setup / LSClient utilities and seems to work better on newer systems. Please download the latest version of the client utility at the following address:
  http://www.buffalotech.com/files/downloads/NasNavi.zip
  Unzip the file to the desktop, and run the setup.exe file. From there users may continue with the LinkStation installation..
• ISSUE: Buffalo NAS Firmware: Updater program cannot find TeraStation/Linkstation
  CAUSE：Wrong model number, subnet mask
  PLATFORMS：TeraStation / LinkStation NAS
  SOLUTION：If the updater software is unable to find the unit, there could be a few causes:
  Check the model number/name of the unit and the model number/name the firmware is listed under. If they do not match, the updater will not find the unit.
  The TeraStation/LinkStation and the workstation that is running the update need to be on the same subnet.  Sometimes it is necessary to disable firewall and antivirus software while performing the update.
  If it still isn't found, try connecting the unit directly to a computer.  Reset the NAS using the INIT button to the factory default settings and set a static IP on the computer to match the 192.168.11.XXX subnet.  Run the update again.
• ISSUE: Forgotten admin password for TeraStation or LinkStation
  CAUSE：TeraStation or LinkStation forgotten or managed by another person
  PLATFORMS： TeraStation NAS / LinkStation NAS
  SOLUTION：
  LinkStation -
  1. Look for the INIT button on back of device.
  2. Press and hold for 15 seconds. The device will start beeping. The password has been changed to the default password.

• ISSUE: How to determine the static IP address of a NAS device if unknown and re-setting the IP address without harming pre-existing data
  CAUSE：Buffalo TeraStation was set to a Static IP address and is unknown.
  PLATFORM(S)：TeraStation NAS / LinkStation NAS
  SOLUTION:  
  1. Click on the link below, select TeraStation/LinkStation from the product drop down menu, select download.
  http://www.buffalotech.com/support/downloads/
  2. Look for the Client Utility under Utilities, download the file to users desktop and use a zip utility unzip the file.
  3. Click on Start > Program Files > Client Utiltiy. This will scan the network for NAS devices and supply you with an IP address.
  4. If that fails, press the INIT button on the back of the LinkStation or under the LCD screen on the TeraStation,  which will reset the IP address to DHCP.
  5. Use the Client Utility again to find the IP address.

如果刷freelink軔體到最後顯示失敗，且更新軔體程式無法找到LS2
請用ssh連線登入LS2，啟動：

/etc/init.d/apserpd start

再執行更新軔體程式，就可以找到LS2了。

• 災情解除：刷Freelink軔體之後，LS2無法自動取得IP，預設為192.168.11.150。得將PC的IP設為同網段--192.168.11.X

災情報告：

不信邪，在PC沒有跟LS2網路線直接連接而透過HUB-IP分享器連接的情況下刷Freelink失敗......。

試著，開啟電源時按住初始化鈕三秒，閃燈中......。

更改PC的ip為192.168.11.x，可以ping得到192.168.11.150，但是原廠的刷軔體程式找不到LS2。

於ubuntu連接192.168.11.150:22 沒問username，要密碼。密碼哩？找找。
