FCC approves of HTC Nexus One

nterestingly enough, a new handset known as NEXUSONE has just gone through the folks at the FCC, where it bears the model number PB99100 and is built by HTC. The same FCC filing also points toward a microSD memory card slot, the inclusion of 802.11b/g Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR connectivity, quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE with UMTS/HSUPA on 850/1700/1900 frequencies. For the uninitiated, this would mean the 3G handset plays nice with 2Mbps uplink and 7.2Mbps downlink for both T-Mobile and AT&T networks Stateside. Should the rumor of the NEXUSONE being sold as an unlocked handset come true, it might just make the entire smartphone market all the more interesting.

不是不可能, Palm 當年不也這樣自己跳下來作, 然後慢慢授權了一堆廠商, 只是後來...

山寨Android手機應該是指Ophone那一類東東..

樓上提到Toshiba, Toshiba真的是個很神奇的廠商, 作過的PDA Phone都賣得不大好. 但是還是很勇敢的繼續開發.(應該也都是代工）
